Ione Williams was born in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He moved to Reading, PA in 2006 in order to attend Alvernia University in pursuit of a degree in Criminal Justice. During his time at Alvernia, Ione developed a love for the community and the surrounding areas, ultimately deciding to purchase a home of his own in 2014. Ione has worked for the Berks County Mental Health Hotline for nearly 10 years, providing 24-hour crisis support to the community.

Through his experience working in mental health, Ione has developed various skills that translate to the Real Estate Profession. Ione uses emphatic listening to gain understanding of a client’s needs. Ione’s effective communication and problem-solving techniques are on full display with each transaction. Ione has always had an interest in becoming a Real Estate Agent for personal and family growth. Once Ione decided to take a chance and join The Michele McCartney Team he was able to experience the satisfaction of providing other families with the opportunity of home ownership. Ione takes pride in making sure that all clients are treated like family and the safety, security, and welfare of their family is the primary focus.

Ione still lives in the Reading area with his significant other, 2 children, 3 dogs, a cat, and a snake. He remains active in the community as a Pennsylvania Scholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Official for multiple sports, advocate for persons with disabilities, member of the Berks County Disaster Response Team and overall GREAT NEIGHBOR!
